Is your word game play on point?

What the Rebus is a smart brain teaser game, packed with rebus word puzzles that will test your lateral thinking skills and make you look at things just a little bit differently!

These aren’t your typical rebus puzzles, though. The traditional ones use words and visual cues to portray a common word or phrase. What the Rebus mixes things up a bit by only providing a picture as the clue. If you’re a visual thinker or are skilled at thinking outside the box, you’ll have a blast solving these fun word puzzles!

For example, one picture might depict a cat sitting on top of a photocopier. What the rebus could the answer be?!

Give up? It’s a “copycat”! Get it?

While we love a good head-scratching word game, we don’t want this game to be too difficult, so we’ve included a few things to help with the gameplay.

First, the blank spaces provided in the answer box below the picture will clue you in on the length of the word or phrase.

Then, there’s everyone’s favorite: power-ups! You’ll have 3 different kinds of power-ups to help you out when you get stuck:

- Share the puzzle with a friend through Facebook, Twitter, messages, or email! (Think of it as your “phone-a-friend” option.)
- Eliminate five unnecessary letters from the keyboard, which should help narrow down the possible answers.
- Reveal a letter in the answer to help jog your mind.

The built-in keyboard is easy to use, with both a “delete all’ button and a backspace button to make entering in your answer a breeze.

For every rebus puzzle that you answer correctly, you’ll be rewarded with coins which you can then use to buy those handy power-ups. Finding yourself burning through them as the levels become progressively more difficult? No worries - coins are also available as an in-app purchase if you need them.

Fun, quirky graphics. Clever word play. Hours of entertainment. For kids and adults alike.
